After a bit of early morning rain, yesterday turned out to be gorgeous. It was warm and sunny and everyone was outside.

Today, on the other hand, it its raining quite hard and will continue to do so for the rest of the day.

Today was quite a pleasant day, as this photo of the Exeter College chapel indicates. Winter seems to have ended as suddenly as it began, with temperatures in the mid to upper fifties (F) are expected later this week.

We took a day trip to Cambridge today on a very cold day. They had more snow here than in Oxford, leaving the quads and lawns with a nice coating of snow.

This morning when I got up the temperature was -11C, which is only 5 degrees centigrade away from the all time coldest temperature in Oxford!
