Finally a sunny day! It's not especially warm, but with the sun it's very pleasant out. Certainly much nicer than the relentless rain. And really just a teaser for the weekend, which will be very nice.

The gardens at Balliol are quite lovely, and today was pretty nice. It was actually dry, for example, and the sun was out for a bit.

The weather has held out admirably for the Exeter College ball. Hopefully that continues!

Carnival

They're setting up for tomorrow's ball at Exeter, whose theme is Carnivale. Hopefully it doesn't rain, though it's been doing it most of the past three days.

It was raining earlier and it's going to rain more later, but right now it's sunny and warm, though also much cloudier than this photo of the Sheldonian Theatre would have you believe.

Yesterday continued the long streak of lovely days with another warm and sunny day for our trip down to the isle of wight. This photo was taken as we stopped by Stonehenge on our way home.

Foggy again

Yesterday was indeed delightful after the fog burned off, and today will be as well. But the fog sure does make for a pretty start.

This is Winston Churchill's grave, in a small cemetery outside a small church north of Oxford. It was rainy yesterday, as you can see, though today is sunny, warm, and beautiful.

This is from yesterday, when it was quite foggy. Sadly, I missed the foggiest part of the morning, but I still managed a nice shot.

Spring like

Though today started out cool and overcast, the sun has largely broken through and made it quite a nice day. This shot of the cemetery at St Mary Magdalen church in central Oxford (right outside the grocery store) showed a beautiful spring scene mixed with tombstones.
