We took a day trip to Cambridge today on a very cold day. They had more snow here than in Oxford, leaving the quads and lawns with a nice coating of snow.
This morning when I got up the temperature was -11C, which is only 5 degrees centigrade away from the all time coldest temperature in Oxford!
Surprisingly, we've had another snowy day! I wasn't expecting another, and certainly not so soon after the last. This one is better, too ,because it didn't start raining at the end.
It finally snowed here, though it turned to rain a bit by the end. But it's still quite pretty today as indicated by this snowy shot of Christ Church Meadow.

The weather today was middling in most every way I can think of. Neither warm our cold, neither dry nor rainy.

Today was much warmer than yesterday, but as is often the case here, it was accompanied by drizzle and moisture. Though it never really rained, the ground has been wet all day.
